Top 5 Anaheim & Buena Park Sightseeing Tours: Expert Review
Planning a trip to Southern California is super fun, but it’s almost easy to get overwhelmed by just how much there is to see and do. Two popular spots for tourists are Anaheim and Buena Park, and very, very often these cities are visited, particularly for Disneyland and other cool attractions. Now, to help you experience all the thrills without spending way too much time deciding what to do, I’ve put together a list of five of what I consider the best sightseeing tours in the area. Let’s take a closer look and sort of uncover what makes them amazing!
1. Disneyland Resort VIP Tour
First off, we have the Disneyland Resort VIP Tour; this is one that, if you love the parks and want something like an unbelievable experience, you seriously have to consider. As a matter of fact, this isn’t just some walking-around kind of thing; instead, it’s almost like having a Disneyland guru at your side for the entire day. That being said, the perks could be things like super speedy access to rides (yep, that includes skipping those ridiculously huge lines!), reserved seating for shows (so, no more battling crowds for a spot), and so many personalized attention based around what you and your group are into. The cast members who guide these tours, well, they usually offer really, really amazing insights and behind-the-scenes stories that could give you such a new appreciation for the parks. But really, one thing to remember, alright, is that this is one tour where you might want to prepare your wallet as it is often among the pricier ways that one might see the Magic Kingdom, but many would say it’s something like worth the cost if you’re trying to cram something like a ton of Disneyland experiences into just one day and want to feel like a celebrity.
2. Knott’s Berry Farm Thrill Seeker Tour
Are you someone who gets a huge kick from adrenaline and roller coasters? Next, we’ve got Knott’s Berry Farm Thrill Seeker Tour. Actually, this tour tends to put you in the front of the line for the park’s craziest rides, it’s almost a total win if you dislike queues. It tends to give you access to several attractions, from the absolutely terrifying HangTime to the classic GhostRider. A guide tells the tale about all these rides and Knott’s Berry Farm’s cool history and some insights that add some context to all the fun. Often, it has the right mix of thrill and information, it could be great, too, if you like learning while having fun! Additionally, you can have an experience here that is similar, sort of like one you get from Disney, though for a slightly reduced price.
3. Anaheim Brewery Tour
If, like your interests lean more into something a bit more on the ‘adult’ side, Anaheim has some options, too! First, you’ve got to check out the Anaheim Brewery Tour, a tasty crawl that tours you ’round some pretty awesome breweries in the city. Now, this tour tends to give you a fantastic, firsthand look at the brewing processes, introduces you, that is, to cool flavors, and lets you just sort of taste some delicious beers that are all crafted locally. In some respects, the tour is an awesome way to explore some unique aspects about Anaheim and, yet, maybe sip a little bit something beyond your typical tourist activities. Along the way, too it’s almost very easy to strike up conversations with other tourists or residents or you might pick something up, right, about the beer making steps and how the local brewing landscape just sort of reflects a lot about Orange County’s cool, modern style and ethos.
4. Whale Watching Tour from Newport Beach
For something where you could easily have a change in pace, there are things such as the Whale Watching Tours departing from Newport Beach (a little outside Anaheim, granted, but a very easy drive.) It tends to bring the open ocean front and center and is like the trip, so to speak, includes a boat journey guided by professionals with all kinds of whale expertise! During a cruise, the crew often tells interesting tidbits, or at least something close to that effect, about these great mammals in addition to ocean and the local aquatic life; so really, if you’ve a big interest on environmental topics or enjoy being surrounded just by something like the ocean and marine creatures, this experience has been so highly praised. Plus, in that case, if you choose your date right, you are almost definitely going to spot some dolphins.
5. Hollywood and Los Angeles Day Trip from Anaheim
And, for people who like something ‘more city,’ a Hollywood and LA day trip from Anaheim actually kills two birds with one stone. As a matter of fact, various tours often run day trips, including the TCL Chinese Theater and all the stars’ names out on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood! So, what I think of is that this tour gets all of those places people wish to go to at least once covered really nicely, along with that it means not figuring stuff out like driving into LA. In a way, if experiencing places such as Beverley Hills, taking photographs beside iconic sights or something very much like that calls out for something such as you, then just maybe make room and see if Hollywood day tours are for what you need!
