1. Prato: Winter Park’s Italian Gem

Prato Winter Park

Prato, in Winter Park, is up first on our list, and let me tell you, it’s so charming! In a way, Prato is not just a restaurant, but is a whole experience, like a warm hug in culinary form, you know? Step inside, and the interior alone is warm and inviting, with exposed brick, very rustic wood accents, and that open kitchen just bubbling with excitement, or that open kitchen with that bubbling excitement.
That aroma of handmade pasta is just so beautiful and enchanting. And the food? Well, the food, the pasta, it’s made by hand, from scratch. It’s simply delectable! If there’s just one dish to order, get the Widowmaker pizza. I mean, it’s topped with a runny egg. What is that? A runny egg that runs and explodes the flavors in your mouth with its incredible ingredients.
For something more substantial, try the gnocchi, its small, but their lightness practically makes them melt into your mouth. To top it off, Winter Park is really a charming town to just stroll through. Prato really becomes that place to have a romantic night, you know, just to chill!

2. Kadence: An Omakase Adventure

Kadence Orlando

For something on the fancier side, we have Kadence, anyway. Kadence is not like any other place, very dissimilar from every other dining establishment you have visited. This is a quaint sushi and sake bar providing an omakase, tasting menu only, in other words. Meaning the chef prepares a tasting menu especially for you. Be willing to take risks and be completely surprised, in the meantime, you might find a favorite! Seating is really limited at Kadence and seating may be fairly difficult to obtain.Making reservations, might I add, can prove difficult. Be willing to plan in advance.
It’s almost an adventure, to arrive into this small 9-seat restaurant where there are just these few seats open. I mean, I encourage you to enjoy the artistic process the chef displays, they almost curate an edible love letter to food with their incredible knife work. The restaurant’s commitment really to seasonal, incredibly fresh ingredients just makes every single course a delight to experience. I mean, everything comes with a special backstory from the chefs. The fish, too, that they use comes straight from Japan.
Now, it ain’t cheap, alright, so be warned, but that dinner? It’s definitely something to write about. A memory that will be created for days.

Very frequently there are these interesting unique flavors which only come during a specific month. As a matter of fact, I’m urging you to come check this one out.
Be ready to possibly wait. Even during off peak hours, just a heads up. Just because that Bakehouse in Disney Springs? Still. Popular. Anyway, what a special place and very highly recommended, especially for your Instagram.

The Roti Canai, with a dahl dipping sauce is quite the snack, they really nail that specific dish. They also happen to serve some delicious Malaysian fare at a reasonable cost.
You could possibly hop on over to Black Bean Deli, also. Another must visit attraction if you would like some Cuban cuisine. They’ve really made an exceptional experience by curating sandwiches and bowls, but they are pretty exceptional, very delicious and always leaves everyone incredibly full.
