Todos Santos, a very sweet little oasis in Baja California Sur, draws folks with its artistic soul and laid-back vibes. That said, is that its culinary scene adds another rich layer to its charm? You, know, it’s bursting with places that dish up tastes to recall, from very humble taco stands to fancier restaurants. So, too it’s like having someone whisper that this guide showcases my personal favorites. Consider it like a roadmap to delicious memories in Todos Santos!
1. Tacos Chilakos: A True Taco Heaven
If you were to ask people about street food, most might just claim that Tacos Chilakos is, in some respects, taco perfection found by the side of the road. Usually, folks tell others about it! Very simply put, imagine the simplest tacos and then they taste absolutely wonderful. Seriously, you should take some time and try one. Like, it’s that good. That said, actually they keep things simple by using charcoal-grilled meats, just a little onion, cilantro, and salsa wrapped inside two soft corn tortillas. Each mouthful has a smoky, savory deliciousness. As I was saying, the real treat comes with the salsas because it is very wonderful!
Most times, locals and travelers seem to gather at Chilakos, especially after sunset when the air cools off, a bit. Just so you know, if you would be in doubt go for the carne asada because, trust me, this taco will knock your socks off, too it’s almost a guarantee. Looking to treat you, like your palate? You know, try out La Casita. Basically, it offers, in some respects, some delicious regional plates with this real, classy kind of vibe. Or, I mean, so I have been told. That said, once there, you’re immediately, often, struck by its, kinda, rustic charm. Actually, its indoor/outdoor place that makes dining there, kinda, super nice, which means that you would enjoy eating under the stars too. So, that’s very great. In other words, enjoy both that beautiful and delicious experience together! The decor includes some of the best paintings you could dream of. I found my mind spinning at that very first dinner there!
Actually, I find their seafood dishes always impress. Pretty much, they know what they are doing. I mean, that you could find anything here for yourself or family. It, too it’s almost, caters to different dietary needs. Oh! Their margaritas! Just know, if there’s one thing I’d certainly order when dining at La Casita, that tends to be, one of their tasty margaritas! Alright, their waiters can guide you to the food that best fits your plate because, you know, each plate has very exquisite sides. It’s pretty amazing, I promise you.
3. Caffe Todos Santos: For Your Caffeine Fix
Does somebody needs something quick or even some caffeine boost? Alright, very likely that Caffe Todos Santos is there! Still, it may be, just a simple small cafe right at the middle. On the other hand, if I may speak to the matter, that, to be honest, is serving some delicious pastries to the visitors. Anyway, and right for all times! It also does cater a fair range of sandwiches that all hungry person could actually desire. Now, this is what you could wish for if you wanna start that kind of slow days!.
As a matter of fact, that you, like your need might be some special coffee concoction you have grown fond to, definitely they can whip, just a little, something out for ya. As I was saying, why not just grab it to go and explore that street corner from Mexico. Just, as a matter of fact, don’t hesitate to just taste and smell your local food spot too, it is very different from that stuff that we get daily.
4. Tequila’s Sunrise Bar & Grill
I tell ya, that Tequila’s Sunrise Bar and Grill is the place to find the sunset views, delicious eats, and of course, to sample some tequilas, too it’s almost always amazing and stunning! Very simply put, its location lets you unwind in some comfy seats by gazing into one stunning sky view right on the beach. As a matter of fact, this very bar is the right place if you actually wanna make the experience truly special because their live musical instruments played are super good. This little location made my afternoon awesome, pretty awesome and even kind of something I can not put into any adjective.
That said, as I was saying that it provides live music almost everyday! Usually, the service comes along some great seafood selections and different grill style foods that the entire party may take for themselves, seriously, there’s a spot there to cater. You know, but don’t just actually miss those very refreshing cocktails for a drink, for instance some great local Tequila with a perfect blended drink! Clearly, and that’s for sure you will find the entire package with, sorta, a big awesome value. So that you don’t have to stress with your bucks for its location which definitely is a must try location for all ages
5. Hotel California Bar
Famously associated with that Eagles song (though they deny direct connection), the Hotel California has, naturally, this certain mystery about it. Like, it can only add to the lure it carries to, arguably, become one popular spot in Todos Santos! Naturally, lots come, not actually just for history, however that the atmosphere is actually very enjoyable itself as a place. As a matter of fact, this would actually set the place for that unforgettable night time in Todos Santos, you would certainly love how this place is!
As a matter of fact, imagine the most typical but the most local cocktails. And honestly, they just make, arguably, the whole package which is so awesome for some relaxation too, too it’s almost that relaxing. You know, and I could actually see the locals here singing as I just see how it could only get really crazy here if the time allows folks to.
