Miami is, so to speak, much more than just those amazing beaches and a nightlife scene that really sparkles, and really that’s saying something, right? Sure, you might love spending days soaking up the sun on South Beach or maybe dancing the night away, but what if, just a little, you could actually get more out of your visit? Maybe it’s time for a bit of exploration, too, and a little break from those Miami crowds. Get ready, too, for some day trip adventures, I feel.
1. Everglades National Park: A Wild Escape
Seriously, get out of Miami and into a totally different kind of Florida landscape! Those Everglades, is that, basically a national park, and I think they really offer this total contrast to the city’s buzz. So think airboat rides skimming across the sawgrass, more or less, maybe you’ll see some alligators and actually tons of birds – nature, kind of. It could be this great escape for people ready for a nature boost, like your breath of air.
Imagine yourself really speeding across those water with an airboat, or for instance feeling the wind in your hair, like that. Spend that afternoon just even exploring Worth Avenue after you got that beach relaxation. Enjoy all those amazing storefronts or simply go people watch, and so on.
