Just walking around on top of those castle walls brings you these crazy good views, a view of all of the countryside all around; just think of that kind of sights.

You have to drink ginjinha there. Have it out of that chocolate cup they use, that’s just, honestly, an Óbidos kind of experience right there. Take a look at Igreja de Santa Maria too; very historic, inside the church is just marvelous and has these amazing artistic features that are likely to take your breath away, basically. Should you get the time for it, time your trip there right, because Óbidos will often have these themed events and festivals to go along with; they sure bring lots of life and culture too!

5. Mafra: Grandeur and History

Mafra; a place quite known because of its palace -Palácio Nacional de Mafra-, a place with extravagance as its style, just such impressive architecture that’s very grandiose, alright. Located also just a short drive from Lisbon, and just kind of stands there standing there being just testament to Portugal’s regal past, honestly.
