Alright, Puerto del Rosario, that’s like your entry point to Fuerteventura, is that right? It’s not just an airport town, very. It’s also the base for some surprisingly fantastic adventure tours. Very few really spend enough time there though, often skipping straight past this really central place in favor of flashier places. The adventurous crowd would definitely miss out by doing that. After trying quite a few tours there, I’ve narrowed it down to my top 5 picks, great tours packed with excitement.

1. Quad Bike Desert Explorer Tour

The quad bike desert explorer tour is first because wow, honestly, nothing gets your adrenaline flowing quite like this. Like your opportunity is there to tear across the volcanic landscapes just outside Puerto del Rosario. That sounds amazing. Imagine, kind of, ripping it up through dusty trails, right? Volcanic rock’s everywhere, with the sun beaming down? Typically, tour guides lead you, still they point out cool stuff, such as hidden valleys and dramatic vistas. Very safe, of course, just with very good instruction. Personally, anyway, I loved the freedom to really open up the throttle, very unique that way, and the views, basically, were unreal. You know. Why It’s Awesome: Like your access comes for rugged landscapes. Your heart feels as though its banging like crazy. Typically, tours happen early in the morning or late afternoon. Okay, anyway, stand-up paddleboarding, or SUP. Is not nearly as hard as it looks. You know, basically. I would suggest this to someone that feels nervous or isn’t comfortable, really, getting drenched in the ocean; tends to be rather mellow, actually. So you get, actually, some really amazing views, alright, on calm days, clearly. Many tours operate close to Puerto del Rosario, or closeby. As I was saying they’re going to give you a lesson on land first. Your goal is, literally, to stand up. Also they are there to help you. I mean basically your tour will get going around the calmer areas. So if you want to know and enjoy calm, paddle on these awesome SUP tours with your family member!

Seemingly one time I even saw a sea turtle. Clearly gliding underneath my board, you know. Absolutely insane. Pretty scary though; honestly it felt like a submarine right under me, more or less, for real, still you’re lucky to get an experience like this one day.

4. Hiking the Montaña Quemada Volcano Trail

For views from on high and like your bit of a workout; still that hiking up Montaña Quemada offers spectacular panoramic views; seemingly very easy as you are close to Puerto del Rosario. Typically, it takes about two hours; alright that really just depends on your pace, okay. So I feel it is not long at all. This way everyone goes for their hiking gear, okay, so the adventure and challenge is available for everybody. If you are a fit person, challenge yourself with family and find secret cool places with awesome hiking tours with spectacular panoramic views!

I like, honestly, packing a lunch. We’re talking about lunch, actually and just sitting at the top. Apparently that is a simple pleasure; anyway you get one of the best views in the whole region up there, is that something worth considering or not.

Things To Keep In Mind: Basically the path, okay, you know is rocky, actually so wear sturdy shoes, more or less. Just saying it out there. I feel your path conditions should match your level. Is it your first path? If so be really aware.

5. Fuerteventura North Coast Buggy Tour

Last, you know, certainly not least. Okay it’s the north coast buggy tour alright, where you travel across the northern Fuerteventura area, you see so much, right, especially spots normal tours don’t get too, so actually they seem pretty remote. Many buggy tours head, really, towards the coast. And typically it means dirt roads, also a few off-road portions. If that’s something you enjoy. Seriously get prepared for some insane views. Still you will go through places, you will laugh and have memorable adventure with remote spots, coastal drives and off road.

I went one time, seriously, and basically, we ended up on this super secluded beach, that; right that tour guides knew to let us have it there; obviously all to ourselves. I believe in most places it doesn’t exist like this one, anyway this happens once a while if you got to this spots. Honestly just unbelievable.
