The roads might be a bit rough in certain parts of the island. Yet, be cautious, or it will take a chunk out of your driving experience. Anyway, so it gives it a certain sort of feel to it, if you get me? I hope. It feels very homey.

3. The Makarska Riviera: A Scenic Delight
Stretching from Brela to Gradac, so the Makarska Riviera is a stunner with its towering Biokovo mountains as a backdrop. This one is not really a super long tour. Yet, the scenery is out of this world. This can really get some good points on what Croatia is about, in total.
What makes it special: Gorgeous beaches, tiny villages clinging to the hillsides, and views that stretch out over the Adriatic is only the beginning. You need variety so, just listen up, okay? So, Krka National Park is like a fairytale with its waterfalls and lush landscapes. I mean it sounds magical, if you ask me.
Not far from Krka is Šibenik, a city that is normally bypassed, so, to bad they don’t get to see. But it is filled with historical sight and a for sure a must see. Very sad if you do miss it! Yet it’s alright you will be one of the lucky. Yet maybe that luck, comes because you took a chance to know.

So, this is a real treat for anyone who loves wine, good food and rich history. Yet, even without that the scenes you will see during this trip is worth more than words can offer. Almost worth way more than words can express, to me. This is because I was truly blown away at how amazing Pelješac Peninsula truly is.
So, drive down this peninsula, that is rather amazing, that’s dotted with vineyards, cozy restaurants, and small villages and the town of Ston. One amazing trip. The place Ston has a rich background with these medevil walls. Maybe a real treat for you if you are very deeply engaged in medevil times.
