That said, the garden isn’t only beautiful; it also runs on the very old hospital site, so it is. Fancy stepping back in time in Cowboy Town? Perhaps a run-in with a dinosaur, arguably. And that’s still without its awesome fairy village. So it’s all a bit random – you get that wonderfully nostalgic air about it that’s sure to take most folks back to a favorite trip down memory lane. It makes such an iconic theme park by mixing nostalgia, and pretty beautiful landscape. Cutting its way from Shanklin Old Village all the way to the beach, Shanklin Chine does deliver some wonderful scenery. The pathways are lit, and it makes for some pretty exciting strolls. In times gone by, the Chine was supposedly used by smugglers, while during the Second World War, it even played a role in the making of the PLUTO pipeline, anyway. The walk that guides you is truly awe-inspiring; you will pass those stunning waterfalls in the gorge and that rich forest on both sides of the cliff walls that, arguably, are impressive, arguably.
