It’s not your regular pub fare; everything on the menu seems to have had a fair amount of thought and care put into it. Think along the lines of beer-battered haddock that flakes perfectly with just a fork, or pies so generously filled they could actually feed a small family. Anyway, that’s the sort of fare you should anticipate, very good comfort dishes but elevated in the sense of premium pub food that doesn’t come off as pretentious or unnecessarily complex.

It can get a bit lively, particularly on weekends, is that people like to descend for a pint or two in this place. I mean, it is all part of its appeal. As I was saying, make a reservation, so too it’s almost.

The Turf Hotel pub

Now, last, yet certainly not in the least, so, there’s The Turf Hotel, is that located right next door to the Racecourse Ground, home of Wrexham AFC. That pub isn’t just about pouring drinks and serving pies, yet it has years of stories under its roof, is that.
